Gotham Knights Update Adds 4-Player Heroic Assault And 2-Player Showdown Modes Today

Before the release of Gotham Knights, Warner Bros. Games Montreal revealed that following the game’s launch, four-player co-op, a heavily requested feature by fans, would be added in the form of a new mode called Heroic Assault. A new update has made that mode and Showdown available in Gotham Knights. 

While the Gotham Knights base campaign allows two-player cooperative play, getting four knights together was not possible. While this is true for the main story of Gotham Knights, it’s not possible to play the multiplayer online Heroic Assault game with four players. This mode, where you must complete 30 challenges and defeat your enemies, allows you to have cooperative Heroic Assault play.

You can clearly see Starro. Those who watched the last year’s event will recognize him. Suicide SquadHeroic Assault is dominated by a villain named. But this alien is not alone – Man-Bat is under their control, so players will need to take down this villain as well. 

Showdown is a mode that allows up to 2 players to battle against each other in an entirely new manner. 

Showdown allows two players to play online together and face off against the main DC villains. Talia al-Ghul, Clayface, Harley Quinn and Clayface are the names mentioned in a press release. Showdown bosses will be defeated and players will receive legendary gear blueprints, unique Batcycle and suit colorways and exclusive suits. 

This update gives all players free access to Showdown and Heroic Assault. To access Heroic Assault you will need to get to Case File 05 within the base game. After you have defeated them in the campaign, Showdown will allow you to access each villain.
