The Playlist
Even though there aren’t many new games this spring, it is still worth discussing. Marcus starts the conversation by sharing his experiences with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Shredder’s Revenge. This will let you understand why both cartoon-lovers and brawlers are sure to have fun. Then, we are entertained by Mr. Van Aken’s tale of his over-the-top gaming experience with Overwatch 2 as well as how the game has changed since its original release. Wes then takes us back to his home, telling us why Citizen Sleeper, an indie RPG, is now one of his favourite games.

Listener Questions
This week’s Listener Questions is a great one. We’re talking about our favourite emotional games, video game reviews, and potential acquisitions of developers.
Read this week’s questions below and submit your own via the Official Game Informer Community Discord or by emailing us at Podcast@GameInformer.com:
My favorite gamers, say hi! I love indie games, particularly those that had an emotional and profound impact on my life. Which indie games have had the most emotional impact or a profound effect on your emotions? Did any of these games change the way that you view gaming as a storytelling tool or medium? I would be honored to have your feedback. Thank you for everything! -JHerb24
I believe that most people have specific critics or reviewers for video games or movies. Their interests align with theirs and their reviews are more trusted than the rest. Which reviewers were you most comfortable with growing up, or even today? For me, in the video game realm, it was former GI’er, Matt Helgeson. After I saw that he had given a game a 9 rating, I instantly knew this was the game I wanted – Bob Buel
Who would you pick if the GI team could acquire a dev? Doesn’t have to be a dev that would make you money. You can be one who loves their games passionately and knows that they will provide a high-quality experience. – SavoyPrime
