Good Omens season 2 first trailer: Crowley and Aziraphale return

We finally have the trailer to Good Omens season 2 — which means we finally know some more about what the heck it’s about. Neil Gaiman, the director Douglas Mackinnon and the writer have kept a lot of the plot details under wraps. We even received the first sequence prior to seeing the trailer. And now that Crowley and Aziraphale have been enjoying their time on Earth together, without the burden of trying to prevent the apocalypse, they’ve been able to relax a little (and might be living together?!). Then they find out that the archangel Gabriel, played by Jon Hamm, has disappeared!

It’s not just the angels who are suspicious, the demons also don’t know what has occurred. Turns out, he’s hiding in Aziraphale’s book shop — and has no memory of who he is. Aziraphale and Crowley must work together to figure out what the heck is up, while also hiding what they’re doing from their superiors.

Gaiman & Mackinnon had revealed some of their secrets at the New York Comic Con.
