GoldenEye 007 Documentary, GoldenEra, Spotlights The Development Of The Influential FPS

GoldenEye 007 was the first shooter to launch on Nintendo 64 back in 1997. Rare’s James Bond FPS was an innovative departure from the other heavyweights Wolfenstein and Doom. The game featured a lot of aesthetic realism as well as intense campaign levels with multiple players. Deep stealth mechanics, cognizant AI and PvP deathmatch. GoldenEra, an upcoming GoldenEye 007 documentary, spotlights the development of the influential FPS. 

Trailer uploaded by IGN, features snippets of developer insight into the creation of GoldenEye 007. FPS titles had been designed initially for PC audience, designers stated. GoldenEye made waves on consoles when it achieved commercial and critical success.
