God of Rock Rhythm-Fighting Game Reveals Release Date and Unparalleled Gameplay 

Do you think that rhythmic combat can defeat some of the greatest musicians anywhere? God of RockThe world tour of the game opens on April 18th 2023. It features a packed setlist full of energy tracks players must master in order to create devastating combinations against their opponents. The latest trailer is available above. Pioneering Rhythm Fighting Mechanics Like None Other

God of Rock, you’ll face off against your opponents as one of the universe’s greatest talents, and with the power of your righteous beats, blast them into orbit. The match will look just like any fighting game. However, the real battle is driven by rhythm games mechanics. Follow the prompts scrolling across the screen, spurred on by music that’s been dictated by the stage and characters selected, to unleash attacks on your foe. 

The beat will get faster as battles go on and the health bars start to wear down. You must keep up the pace of the music or you will lose your mark. The one that loses his groove the first time in these fights is the one who will fall. To take full control of the fight, you must use Ultra and Special attacks to your advantage.

There are no two matches the same

You will find 12 characters to play the game, with each character having their own fighting style, special moves and combat strategies. There are eight stunning stages as well as over 40 unique rock tracks. Your gameplay will change depending on which stage you choose. This creates a completely new experience each time you move around.

Each of the game’s 40+ music tracks are being carefully and masterfully curated by a talented team of indie composers. There’s something for every rock fan in this setlist – it touches on every subgenre from Celtic rock to punk to symphonic rock.
