Gloomhaven Is Coming To Consoles In 2023

Gloomhaven was a dungeon-crawling game. The huge box that holds it weighs in at over 20 pounds. Gloomhaven was able to find its audience thanks to this weight. The board game has been adapted to a PC-based turn-based tactical role playing game. Flaming Fowl Studios is now publishing this digital version. It will be available on consoles as of 2023.

Asmodee will be working together with Saber Games, Embracer Group and Embracer Group to port the console. Although no specific system is known, Asmodee announced the project via Twitter. However, it shows an image showing an Xbox controller. Below is a teaser clip for console versions.

Gloomhaven’s digital edition offers nearly 100 mission options that can be used to create a four-player cooperative. Play cards with your mercenary and dive into the dungeons together. Jaws of the Lion, a DLC released by Asmodee for Gloomhaven was just last week.

While we will have to wait and see the details of the console versions, given this announcement timing, it’s likely that more information about them will be revealed at the Summer Games Fest in the coming weeks.
