Game Boy and GBA games now playable on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo just dropped over a dozen classic Game Boy And Game Boy Advance games — including Metroid 2: Return of Samus, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap —Nintendo Switch. The full list of titles, announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, will be available through the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service.

With the standard Nintendo Switch Online subscription, nine Game Boy Games are included. Six additional Game Boy Advance games are available if you subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pack.

Emulated games can be customized with optional Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Color filter filters. Online and local multiplayer is possible with Game Boy Advance games. Some games support online and local multiplayer up to four players with Game Boy Advance.
