Frieza Wreaks Havoc In Dragon Ball: The Breakers Release Date Trailer

Dragon Ball: The Breakers puts a different spin on this franchise, allowing players to work in unison and evade an opponent controlled by Dragon Ball. The trailer focuses on Lord Frieza (one of the bad guys) and confirms an October launch date.

The Breakers is a group of civilians, including Bulma (and Oolong), who are charged with helping to escape the grasps of a mastermind. He has locked them up in a kind of pocket dimension. The Raider (or the overseer) ups the stakes by pitting ordinary prisoners against powerful antagonists like Majin Buu and Cell. The townfolk have the ability to use different tools to escape from a time machine. They can also work in groups or independently and may harness the powers of heroes like Goku.

The new trailer highlights Frieza, showing how players can rain destruction as the emperor of the universe. This player can assume all of Frieza’s traditional transformations (his Golden form is unconfirmed) and unleash attacks such as his planet-destroying Death Ball. He even “Krillins” a victim by pulling them into the air and blowing them up.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is as wild and funny as ever, which definitely fits in the spirit of this franchise. It’s launching on October 14 for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. A series of closed-network tests will take place over the weekend of August 6-6 to give curious gamers a chance to play the game. For that, you can sign up here.
