Free Steam Decks given away during The Game Awards 2022

When The Game Awards airs Thursday, December 8, Valve will be giving away a Steam Deck for every minute. The Game Awards 2022 usually runs about three hours, so, that’s 180 Steam Decks!

Fans can already register for the Steam Deck drawing; they’ll at least get an animated Steam Pal digital sticker in their Steam inventories. The only catch? You have to watch The Game Awards on Steam.tv. Valve’s streaming channel launched it in 2018.

The chat will announce the winner by their Steam username. There’s some other fine print, but that’s the gist.

This prize includes the Steam Deck 512GB version, a PC gaming console that Valve introduced back in February. However, it has become very popular and is now in limited supply. If you’re lucky enough to win, we have plenty of game recommendations to fill up your new console.
