Foamstars Is A Soapy Multiplayer Shooter From Square Enix

Today’s PlayStation Showcase saw Square Enix unveil a squeaky-clean online shooter called Foamstars. 

In this new, wacky multiplayer game, two four-person teams are pitted against one another using foam-shooting weapons. The battlefields are coated in foamy soap, and players can take advantage of this by creating surfaces that allow them to move at high speed. Foam is also useful for creating vantage points or shielding yourself and teammates against attacks. This trailer features a lot of silly weapons, and it feels almost like Splatoon. 

Square Enix promises to share more about Foamstars in the future, but it’s coming to PlayStation 5 and 4.
