Five Beginner Tips for a Successful Run in Roboquest

Hello Guardians!

I’m Elliot Yun from the RyseUp team, community manager and game designer for Roboquest and I’m here to give you our five beginner tips for a successful run!

Note that these tips have been validated by the Confrérie du Croissant here in France.

Let’s dive right in.

Tip #1 – Always Stay in Movement!

As you play the game, you’ll unlock new options. Use them all to keep up with the game. Avoiding enemy attacks is essential to your progress and success in the game. Enemies can be merciless and many. Master the movement, master your character (regardless of the class you’re playing as).

Tip #2 – Use your Primary Ability

FPS Games Roboquest One of those possibilities in is that it can be so intense you don’t even remember some other gameplay options. This is one of the possibilities. RoboquestIt’s using your primary character ability. They are powerful, cooldown-based abilities that you can specialize into through your builds but that can always be relevant, even if you’re not necessarily spec’ing into it. And since it only has a cooldown as a cost, it won’t hurt to use it even if you’re not exploiting it to its full potential. Don’t have the “too good to use” syndrome and spam that key!

Tip #3 – Grab the Healing Cells

Two ways of healing are available RoboquestYou can either use the Repair-o’bot you find in the safe room or pick up the Healing Cells that your enemies drop when they die. These cells disappear quickly, so it’s important to act fast. It is vital to keep your health at its best to remain offensive. Being offensive is usually not a good thing. RoboquestIt will Pay Off

As long as you can avoid getting damaged, that is. Drive guardians forward without fear!

Tip #4 – Help the Friendly Robots

The following are some of the ways to get in touch with us Roboquest It’s a fast-paced game, but there are times when you should slow down and try to help the people who come up in your path. The little ones (and the big ones?) will have things they need done. These little (and large?) robots, who are friendly and helpful to all people, will need things done for them. By helping out, you can gain permanent rewards and access to other places. This will however require that you pay attention to the environment around you and find alternative solutions to certain situations. Robot loyalty: help those guys, and they’ll return the favor.

Tip #5 – Find the Data-Logs

The Data-Logs scattered throughout the game are small pieces of story and lore. Although not essential to the overall storyline or progression, finding a Data-Log will reward you with several Wrenches. The Wrenches currency can be used to upgrade your basecamp, unlock upgrades and help you progress further in the game every time you play. If you find yourself struggling to unlock some of these upgrades a good way to boost your out-game economy would be to find those data-logs (if you feel like exploring, if not they aren’t mandatory anyway).

And that’s all for the five tips. These tips should help you to run more successfully.

Check out all the game options. We spent hours designing and crafting quality-of life and setting options so you can be comfortable. FPS games are this type of game where everyone plays differently and we tried to take that into account while making the game (yes, those reverse-Y-axis, jump with scroll-wheel and flat pink-coloured crosshair players, I’m looking at you).
