Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Hits Mobile Platforms Next Month

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a mobile RPG that tells the FFVII saga. It has a date of release. The first announcement of the game took place in February 2021. 

Ever Crisis will be available on iOS and Android starting September 7. This is a single-player RPG with a chapter structure that covers the whole FFVII time period. Kazushige NOJIMA, the writer of FF VII’s story and scenario, will be bringing in new elements to complement those from 1997. These elements center around a younger Sephiroth. Gameplay includes active time battles, and monetization takes the form of microtransactions for certain weapons and equipment. Watch it in action with the latest Summer Game Fest trailer in June.

It will be the latest attempt to bring FFVII’s content on mobile. Square Enix closed Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier in January. This mobile battle royale was announced alongside Ever Crisis 2 years ago. Hopefully, Ever Crisis has a better run and offers a solid appetizer until Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launches next year.
