FFXIV: How to unlock Eureka Orthos, patch 6.35’s new deep dungeon
FFXIV: Endwalker’S patch 6.35 brings the third deepdungeon to your game. Eureka OrthosThe Crystal Tower’s laboratory beneath the Crystal Tower, where the Allagan Empire explored immortality, cloning and the dominion of the divine. It’s up to you, the Warrior of Light, to discover the laboratory’s buried secrets and bring them to light.
Roguelite multifloor instances with their own leveling system, deep dungeons have their own items and also offer a variety of levels. To level up, defeat the enemies and move to the next floor. You can also open chests and receive gear upgrades and items. There are two ways to save your progress: solo, with up to four friends or in groups.

How to get Eureka Orthos into FFXIV
You must meet these prerequisites in order to unlock Eureka Orthos.
- Complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker.”
- Collect floor 50 of the Palace of the Dead.
- You must have at least one Disciple of War or Magic (to be counted as a job, but not limited) at level 81
These are the things you should do. Koh Rabntah Mor Dhona to start the quest “Delve into Myth.” If you’re having trouble locating them, check out the image below.

How to get into Eureka Orthos at FFXIV
After completing “Delve into Myth,” speak to Khatun at Mor Dhona to enter Eureka Orthos. If you don’t want to travel all the way to Khatun, you can talk to Burnel To teleport from Mor Dhona, use the Mor Dhona button. If you’re having trouble finding either of them, check out the image gallery below to see their locations.
The first floor is where players will start, however you can move up to the second.You can begin at the 21st floor if you’ve met the following prerequisites:
- Clear Floor 30 at Eureka Orthos
- Complete the quest “Rage Extinguished.”

In order to unlock the quest “Rage Extinguished,” you must first clear floor 30 of Eureka Orthos. Afterward, Speak to Koh Rabntah, Mor Dhona Start the journey.
There are differences between Eureka Orthos (and the other deep-dungeons)
These are the main differences between Eureka Orthos versus the other deep-dungeons. Dreadful beasts demiclones. Other minor changes may include the change of name from several name changes (pomanders to protomanders and cairns or pillars) to few other protomanders.
Fear Beasts

Dread beasts are much stronger than the average monster inside Eureka Orthos, but once you defeat one, you’ll receive a buff. You can spot a Dread Beast by their glow, and be alert for those with active animation around them.
Dread beasts can be dangerous so take care You will be one-shotted in one attack. To take on a protomander, you must have the appropriate protomanders.
Demiclones

Demiclones take over for Magicites from Heaven-on-High in Eureka Orthos, but they don’t function the same as Magicites. While demiclones won’t wipe the floor, they will instead summon a Demiclone to help you. Every demiclone is unique and has its own abilities to serve each role: tank, healer, DPS. The Eureka Orthos has Silver Coffers that can be opened to get Demiclones.
Eureka Orthos Rewards
Once completing an instance of Eureka Orthos, you’ll receive rewards depending on your level and progress.
If you’re level 90 when you enter, you’ll receive Allagan tomestones and gil based on the floors completed. You can find more details in the table below.

If you’re between levels 81 and 90 when you enter, you’ll receive experience points, gil, and Allagan tomestones of poetics based on the floors completed. You can find more details in the table below.
Eureka Orthos can earn rewards between level 81 and 90 in FFXIV.

Orthos Aetherpool Gear
You can also access the deep dungeons. You can keep your aetherpool gear safe by exchanging Orthos’ aetherpool grips. If you’ve strengthened your Orthos aetherpool arm and armor to +10, and you’ve completed the sidequest “Rage Extinguished,” you can synthesize an Orthos aetherpool grip which will reduce the strength of your aetherpool arm and armor by 10.
