FFXIV Endwalker Manderville relic weapon guide, quest, and steps

Final Fantasy XIV: EndwalkerIt now features its legendary tool, the Relic Weapon, made by Godbert Manderville (two masters in their respective crafts),

These Manderville weapons will eventually be the best weapon in the expansion (as more upgrades for it come down the line), so it’s good to get a jump and start collecting them for the various jobs you play now.

Explained: Relic Weapons

These are special weapons with a glowing animation and beautiful looks. After upgrading the weapon several times over the span of several patches, you’ll have the best weapon in Endwalker as a trophy for your hard work, but the amount of work you’ll need to put forth is huge. Instead of trying to complete the tasks in a short time and becoming exhausted, it is better to take your time.

There are lots of steps to get the best weapon in the expansion, and for each weapon you want, you’ll have to start from the beginning and repeat most of the steps.

Prerequisites for Endwalker Relic Weapon

To be able to start the quest for the relic weapon, you must have completed all the side quests in Manderville. There’s a set of quests for each expansion (except ShadowbringersThese must be done in order. After each set has been completed, the credits roll and you will see your gang in a different area. These are the instructions for the Manderville quests in every expansion.

In order to do the expansion’s Hildebrand quest, you have to have completed the base main scenario quest of that expansion. For example, you can’t do “A Hingan Tale: Nashu Goes Eat” until you finished the MSQ titled “Stormblood.”

Additionally, your weapon must be level 90 to work in the job for which you are making it. After you’ve got all of this in place, it is time to start crafting your relic weapons.

Step 1: Making a Manderville gun

This is your base for your relic gun. It’sLevel 615And this was the addition of this portion to the relic-waffe quest line Patch 6.25. Talk to the NPC listed below about the job for which you would like the weapon.

1. Talk to Godbert and then go to Jubrunnah Near the Radz-at Han main Aetheryte
2. Exchange Astronomy Tomestones by AllaganFor 3 Manderium Meteorites. 500 tomes is the cost of one meteorite.
3. To get your relic weapons, turn the Manderium Meteorites into Gerolt.

That’s it! If you want another relic weapon for a different job, you will just need to talk to the “House Manderville Artisan” next to Gerolt and give him three more Manderium Meteorites.

Later patches will include more upgrades to your weapon. These relic weapons will be based on past relic weapon versions. The later steps will involve you grinding out additional duties and FATEs. We’ll update this guide as more relic weapon steps get added to the game.
