Feel the Heat of the Stia Region in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Today

ARKS defenders may be out of the frying pan, but they’ll be stepping into the fire today with the launch of the Stia Region in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis. You will find hot springs, volcanic pools and the worst enemies yet. You’ll need to bring your A-game to battle so you don’t get burned. The update adds a new area and story content. Additionally, it includes new abilities and skills for certain classes, weapons and armor as well as interactable objects and Field Races. There are also various system enhancements.

Reconnaissance Mission: Stia

The main Stia areas are packed with Ryuker Devices to make it easy to transport. They also contain DOLLS and resources. In Stia Outskirts you’ll find the Stia Camp, which can take care of your immediate needs for replenishment, Class Skill tuning, Weapon/Armor Enhancement, Side Quests, and other gameplay necessities. Upon exiting Stia Camp, you’ll find enemies camped out, ready to prey on the unprepared. The Grainne Coast lines Stia Outskirts and this is where the lava is forced to yield to water – separating Kvaris, Aelio, and Retem from Stia. The Dreisen Plant entrance is found in Stia Outskirts. This has been designated an active Combat Sector because of increased activity and aggression by DOLLS. Scout Wasps may be encountered, who serve as surveillance drones for DOLLS. So keep your eyes open to make sure you don’t activate any alarms. Invisible Boxes can be found in the wild. These are hidden containers of rare and valuable items, that only your Mag Device detects.

The Number One Rule: Don’t Stand in the Fire

Hot Lava is good and hot enough is worse. In the Stia Region, Lava Bombs rain pain from above and Lava Pools stand ready to burn those who don’t step carefully. However, if you are a chaos-loving and destructive streak, New GenesisThis is your chance to use these elements in your favor. Quickly collect bombs, and then throw them at the spherical Lava Cores which form inside pools when certain weather conditions occur. It is quite a sight to see the explosion from these actions, which will surely annihilate all enemies that are within reach.

You’re always in for a good time with new adversaries

DOLLS can adapt to any terrain. They take different forms in Stia. Nils Saintia, Engouku and Doldoris are the three strongest DOLLS. Nils Saintia can turn its attack against it by cleverly exploiting an aspect of weakness. Engouku is able to fight with lightning speed Bujins, while Doldoris forces even bravest defenders back, retreat, and cover itself when it activates its Gatling Gun. But the greatest enemies also tend to have the richest treasure. The enemies of Stia are no exception. You can find the 8-star Effulgent Fire Elemental Weapon Series throughout Stia. However, it is most commonly found in the Combat Sectors. The Critical Hit rate of these weapons increases after successful attacks negation and dodges. You can find two new 7-star Rarity armors in active engagement.

No Gain Without Train…-ia

The new Trainia in Stia can be tackled by defenders. This will give them additional Skill points, which is required for the passive and active Class Skills included in the content update. Three Cocoons are available at Level 63, and one Tower is available for those who have reached 65. Once a Trainia has been completed successfully, Skill Points will be available to immediately use at the Stia Camp and any other Class Counter. Battledia makes it easier to level up

Stia also houses new Battledia combat equipment. You will need Battle Triggers to access these facilities. They can only be obtained through the respective Trigger Portals. Battledias: Yellow provide a convenient way to earn a large amount of EXP. Battledias: Purple require more effort and can sometimes be difficult. In Stia Battledia: Purple, Stia Devastators, you’ll fight a series of Gigantix that will leave you little room for error without punishing your results. However, the glory and rewards from success are great, as another 8-star Rarity Weapon Series, the Gunblaze weapons, drop from the enemies found in Stia’s Purple Battledia.

Neue Field Races

New in Exploration Sectors is New Genesis are Field Races. A lot of these have been added to the game over the course of recent months. A Field Race will be added to Stia. It can be accessed via the Racing Console located near the Ryuker device on the Grainne Coast in Stia Outskirts. You can challenge yourself to make split-second decisions and determine which path will lead you to the fastest time or the highest score. To do this, you’ll need to pass through checkpoints and collect as many Score Symbols as you can while avoiding craggy and volcanic terrain. For your efforts, you’ll receive various beneficial Augments, which can be used to Enhance your gear, as well as Gathering Materials that provide desirable buffs when used as Quick Food at a Ryuker Device.

As great as the above content sounds, that’s not the only thing that this update is bringing to the table on December 7. There’s also a large variety of system improvements that have been made. One long-desired change is the addition of new and departing item indicators on the Scratch Ticket Prize list, allowing players to easily identify new cosmetic items they want and items they should get before they’re gone. For Chapters 2, 3 and 4, players who are new or return will be able to receive adjusted rewards. Players who create new characters can jump right into new chapters if they already have one who has completed them.
