Fall in Love with the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis February Update

Sometimes, I add some Ret Yellow Battledia and, depending upon Alliance or NGS Official Discord, at most one Ret Purple Battledia per day. Battledia can be entered by you or 3 others with the help of appropriate Triggers. They are new to NGS since the Retem area introduction in December 2021. It’s a good list of things to do, but it’s about to get larger with the update coming on February 9.

Level-Up

You finally got both your Main and Sub-class to level 35, but you’re not done, ARKS. You will reach 40 levels on February 9th. Make sure to use the weekly tasks and side assignments offered by Leah May at ARKS Training Instructor Leah May to gain a lot of experience. Battledia Yellow is also recommended, since I’m sure many people have been skipping these to get the Battledia Purple or Relik Weapon Series rare drops. Consequently, you may have a healthy stockpile of these in your storage and they’re pretty good EXP.

Get on the Stage

I may or may not have a performance of “We’re ARKS!/Rare Drop Koi-Koi” bookmarked in my browser (If you don’t know what I’m referring to, please look up the Global/NA version of the songs.) You should now have an idea about how much I enjoyed the Live Concerts. PSO2 life. Though there’s no Shopping Area in NGS, there are two very appropriately sized areas that look perfect for live performances, and they’ll finally get some use come the February update. Nadereh and her band of merry cast will be taking to the Retem City Stage. It’s really something, and I know I’ll be waiting with bated breath (and dressed in my Festival Heart outfit) come performance-time. Oh, did I mention there’s also a new Side Story related to the concert?

You can rank your heart out

Mt. Magnus, (for instance, navigating the updrafters to get to the very top for a PSE Burst that you’re hoping isn’t over before you get there) then rejoice, because you’ll be revisiting as there will be new High Rank Sectors added! Finally, Gigantix is now able to gain a few more levels due to the extensive experience it has with fighting ARKS Defenders. Aelio Ugent Quests also rank up and provide Photon Scales for completion. A new quality-of-life feature allows you to accept Urgent Quests from other regions.

A favorite of mine is NGSYou have reached the Mission Pass maximum, so you can get the Coming of NGSI am excited for Season 5. There’s a cute new Mag Form, which is great as I’m ready to draw some attention to my new personal DJ. You can also now play Music Discs directly from your Mag, so that you can have some music while you cull Dolls. Sadly, other players can’t hear your music, regardless of whether they’re in your Party or not. However, it’s a smart idea to have fun with friends. A new party bonus feature was added which will increase EXP and the Meseta you receive, and also boost your Rare Drop Rate. NVIDIA FSR1.0 and NVIDIA FSS 1.0 now support!
