F1 22 Celebrates the United States Grand Prix with Free Content
My Team Icon Mika Häkkinen, Stars & Stripes Collection, and Griddy Celebration
F1 22 is ready to delight fans and players this week with a whole host of free content and the chance for new players to sample the game during Xbox’s Free Play Weekend from October 20-24.
Fans who would like to experience the glamorous life of an F1 driver will finally be able to do so during this week’s Free Play Weekend. F1 Life will allow players to control the car and design their race, or play in multiplayer.
Players can also enjoy the Free Play Weekend. F1 22 will receive the new My Team Icon Mika Häkkinen for free. The ‘Flying Finn’ won back-to-back World Championships in 1998 and 1999 and was one of the most respected drivers of his generation. From October 17, at 10 p.m. BST, players will be able log in to their game inbox to add Mika into their My Team roster. This is from November 7th to November 7. (Requires F1 22All game updates and sold separately All in-game purchases are included. The items are only available in-game from November 7 to December 7, and may be subject to changes.
All racers will receive US-inspired content straight to their in-game mailbox, as the F1 season heads to the Circuit of the Americas. In-game content will include the Stars and Stripes helmet, livery, and race suit as well as gloves. This is just in time for October 21, 23rd, which marks the United States Grand Prix.
Also, F1 22 players will also receive “The Griddy” for free. It’s the dance craze that took the US sports scene by storm and is likely to take podium celebrations to an entirely new level. Griddy is finally here F1 22All player-generated drivers
Playing is for everyone F1 22All players who play the Free Play Weekend but decide to buy the complete game can keep their progress and claimed items.
