Everything You Need To Know About Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 4

The latest season of Fortnite – Last Resort – is now live and it brings a new battle pass with plenty of skins to the game alongside new points of interest on the map, returning weapons, new items, and more. The season revolves around both sneaky and gun-blazing heists. A vampire is at the center of all of it.

That vampire is named Kado Thorne and he’s made the battle island his home in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 4. He’s draining the wealth and treasures around it to fund some new real estate (see: points of interest) around the island: Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate.

Epic Games claims that these locations have been heavily defended with guards, cameras and laser grids. And inside, you’ll find Thorne has filled them with valuable items. Thorne is also the owner of Rumble Ruins in Mega City, Slap Juice, and Mega City’s tower.

Inside Thorne’s estates, you’ll find the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun. Scoped Burst SMGThe. A Twin Mag Assault Rifle, with a flippable mag that allows faster loading every time. The Business TurretThe battle royale has a new feature, which appears as a briefcase when held in the hand and transforms to a destructive weaponry turret once thrown.

In-bases are Heist BagsThe bags are filled with items like heisting gear. Crash Pad Jr. items, Remote ExplosivesYou can also find out more about the Rocket RamAmmo and healing items are all available in Thorne’s properties. In the depths of Thorne’s properties are Mythic items from throughout Fortnite’s history, like Midas’ Drum Gun, TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug, Kit’s Charge Shotgun, Kit’s Shockwave Launcher, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun. Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle” Gunnar’s Stinger SMG.

The vehicle’s front is the Nitro FangFortnite now has a live version. The car has multiple appearances, one of which makes it appear like a delivery vehicle. Regardless of the look, the Nitro Fang features a special handbrake “for making lock-tight turns.”

Survivor MedalsThere are some new ones, as well, that are awarded by simply surviving. “To upgrade to the next medal, complete a Survivor Quest in Battle Royale or Zero Build that challenges you to outlast a fixed number of opponents while getting a certain number of eliminations,” an Epic Games press release reads. “The higher your medal rarity, the harder the quests. The most expert survivors get the Mythic 1 medal.”

Seven medal rarities are available, each with 10 upgrades: epic, legend, exotic, common and mythic. Once you have the Common 1 Medal, the next level is unlocked. Prized Llama Back Bling, and you’ll earn new styles for this bling as you reach other top rarities.
