Everything announced at Stray publisher Annapurna Interactive’s 2022 showcase

The past year has been good for publisher Annapurna Interactive: It’s seen success with developer Ben Esposito’s Neon White, followed by BlueTwelve’s breakout cat game Stray. Annapurna’s now looking forward to what’s coming next, focusing on its slate of upcoming games during its annual Annapurna Interactive Showcase on Thursday.

Annapurna Interactive gave a detailed overview of some its games over the span of about half an hour. Foresight Thirsty SuitorsAlong with announcements about new games by Keita Takahashi, Kentucky Route Zero developer Cardboard Computer.

Thirsty Suitors

Thirsty Suitors developer Outerloop Games kicked off the Annapurna Interactive Showcase by demoing how the game’s combat and narrative work together through an innovative fighting scene. Thirsty SuitorsIt will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. You can download a demo now from Steam. It’ll be on Game Pass at launch.

Foresight

ForesightFrom PruneDeveloper Joel McDonald will be visiting Apple iOS, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam in August.

New Cardboard Computer game

Kentucky Route Zero Cardboard Computer and Annapurna Interactive are working together on a new video game. No major details were announced — just that it’s happening, and will be more animated.

The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem: Bounty star: The Bounty-Star of Graveyard Clem

Dinogod, a developer announced The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem: Bounty star: The Bounty-Star of Graveyard Clem. It’s a mech fighter with farming and base building, and it’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It’s expected out in 2023.

Yarn Owl launches a brand new game

Annapurna Interactive has announced a partnership with Yarn Owl. Yarn Owl is a Texas-based studio. They met via Twitch, and now they are working together on their first game.

Outer WildsUpdate

Outer Wilds is still coming to Nintendo Switch, but it’s taking longer than expected. It will arrive on PlayStation 5 (and Xbox Series X) Sept. 15th. It’s free for players that already own the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Forever Ago

Third Shift in Germany is developing a new road-trip game that stars an old man. It’s called The End of Time This is a beautiful sight.

Flock

Richard Hogg from Hollow Ponds. Richard recently completed work on Hohokum The End is Near, FlockIt’s a multiplayer game that lets you fly with your friends. It’s coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

New Keita Takahashi game

Keita Takahashi’s studio Uvula is working with Annapurna Interactive on an unsettling new game.

New Dreamfeel game

Annapurna Interactive highlighted Annapurna Interactive’s work If FoundDreamfeel, a developer of video games for cats, is currently developing a new one.

The Lost Wild

Annapurna Interactive will publish Great Ape Games’ dinosaur survival game The Lost Wild. It’ll come to Windows PC via Steam for sure, but console announcements will come later.

Hohokum

HohokumDeveloper Honeyslug has made a new game, “The Honeyslug”, available for Windows PC through Steam.

Edith Finch: What is Left?

Indie rock star. Edith Finch: What is Left?Available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, in 4K. It runs at 60 frames/second now. It’s free for people that own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
