Every Playable Character In Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s cinematic universe and comics teach us that there is no end to the possibilities. Every day new villains emerge and new heroes appear to try to stop them. Crystal Dynamics has taken the same approach to its game featuring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Marvel’s Avengers was launched with six characters. However, that is far from the total number of heroes we will be able take over when all is said and done. Crystal Dynamics stated that all characters playable will be available at no extra cost. However, additional upgrades may cost money.

Base Game Heroes

Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan is able to use her new powers after a terrible opening. Her goal as the protagonist of Marvel’s Avengers is to save the world by assembling the banned hero teams.

Captain America

Captain America, the leader of the Avengers is shot to death in the opening sequence. It is all too evident in the story, as the Avengers attempt to bring together his loss and make it meaningful.

Iron Man

A full range of weapons and gadgets are available to the billionaire tech genius wearing the metal suit against evil forces.

Black Widow

This former SHIELD spy has weapons and martial arts expertise and the technology to match her abilities.

Thor

With his legendary hammer Mjolnir and powerful control of lightning, the thunder god is mighty.

Hulk

Bruce Banner, a mild-mannered man transforms into a giant green rage-monster that can rampage through hostile environments and people with ease.

Post-Launch Heroes

Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) – December 8, 2020

Clint Barton’s protégé joins as the first post-launch hero. Clint Barton’s protégé Kate, an archer expert, has the same abilities as him but uses her own moveset. These include scattershot and explosive arrows. Smokescreen arrows. You can also use warp arrows to teleport across the battlefield, create holograms and add quantum energy to your attacks. With the Super Adaptoid, Clint Barton standing in her path as an Omega-level villain with all of the Avengers’ abilities, she joined Operation: Taking AIM.

Hawkeye (Clint Barton) – March 18, 2021

Clint Barton, who has been missing since A-Day’s events, re-emerges in Operation: Future Imperfect. Operation: Future Imperfect is set in a world where nuclear war and the Kree have destroyed all life on the planet. Hawkeye faces a Maestro with a deranged personality who has transformed himself into a Hulk-like version. Hawkeye must stop Maestro’s reign of terror from destroying all supervillains and superheroes.

Black Panther – August 17, 2021

Black Panther was part of the Avengers’ first content drop post-launch large enough for it to be considered an expansion. War for Wakanda is the expansion that follows King T’Challa, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and their fight against Klaw and Crossbones’ invading army of mercenaries.

Spider-Man – November 30, 2021
(PlayStation Exclusive)

Crystal Dynamics has finally added Spider-Man to Marvel’s Avengers for PlayStation. Spider-Man is not delivered via an Operation like Hawkeye or Black Panther expansion. Instead, he joins the superhero team with no story missions and no cutscenes.

Mighty Thor

Her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut was in Thor: Love and ThunderCrystal Dynamics has announced the addition of Jane Foster: Mighty Thor to their team. Crystal Dynamics doesn’t provide much information about Jane’s participation, however, they say her moves will share a lot with Thor’s but will include elements that distinguish her.
