Escape Academy Lets You Unravel Escape Rooms Alongside A Friend

While escape rooms have grown in popularity over the years, not everyone can find one locally or has the friends/time to do one. Escape Academy is a co-operative puzzler that brings this concept to life.

Revealed during today’s ID@Xbox showcase, the game tasks players, either alone or with one other partner, to become the ultimate escape artist by unraveling a variety of puzzling locations under a time limit. The reveal trailer shows off locations such as a “mundane” office rapidly filling with gas to something as elaborate as an American Ninja Warrior-esque obstacle arena. As a student in an escape-room-based academy, you have the ability to explore its campus and interact with its faculty. You can play Co-op online and locally. The trailer showcases split-screen gameplay.

Escape Academy launches on PlayStation 5 this June, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4. Xbox One and PC are also available. Xbox Game Pass will also launch the Escape Academy on day one.
