Ziggurat Interactive is the publisher. BloodRayne 2: ReVamped was developed by Big Boat Interactive for consoles. It will go on sale November 18th, 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The original BloodRayne games are now available on Nintendo’s consoles for the first time. Limited Run Games, in conjunction with the digital launch will also be available on Switch and PS4. 

Players will be able to experience the deadly dhampir’s adventures with modern enhancements including higher display resolutions, upscaled cinematics, engine improvements, and more.

BloodRayne was a horror-action series that introduced third-person gamers to Rayne. Rayne is a half-vampire, brutal femme fatale who travels the globe to uncover her vampire heritage, fight supernatural threats and foil Nazi plans. BloodRayne, BloodRayne 2 and BloodRayne 1 offer dynamic gameplay experiences with a compelling protagonist, action-packed combat, extraordinary powers and a storyline that spans the globe. BloodRayne is loved by critics and fans alike. It was an instant cross-media sensation that brought together comics and games.

There are new features in BloodRayne’s Revamped Series for Consoles:

• Support for higher display resolutions (up to 4K / 3840×2160 on supported consoles)
• Filmmaking videos with a modern cinematic feel
• Lighting improvements at the engine, as well as fully reprocessed light data
• Improved engine to handle original uncompressed textures
• Improved effects like reflections, water and fog
• Some localizations may include:
  • BloodRayne: Vocal audio and text translations for English, French and Italian.
  • BloodRayne 2: Voiced audio available in English or Russian. Text localized for English, French and German.
