The meaning of “player choice” has changed. Elex IIJax meets a Magalan that is populated now by five different factions in a constant war. Each must become allies. Clerics boast some of the most dangerous weaponry and are overly technical. Clerics have a splinter called the Albs. They are able to develop magical powers by consuming large amounts of Elex. The Berserker’s magic is regarded as perhaps the strongest as they rely on it alone for battle. Both the Outlaws and Morkons bring their own style of violence to Magalan. But, the Morkons’ actions are more planned.

This is not only about battling otherworldly creatures like Night Shadows and Ice Trolls but also the difficult relationships that must be managed. Elex II is a true action RPG. It requires exploration, skill acquisition and equipment acquisition. You also need to interact with teachers and vendors.

Jax will be able to allow players to form their own faction. This expands on the Elex II story. This is all in the name of saving Magalan and the other mysterious creatures that inhabit the skies, which threaten the planet’s destruction.
