God Runes – How Does It Work?

When you defeat one of the shard-bearing demigods of Elden Ring, you’ll acquire their god rune. You will need to find and climb a tower of divine power in this region to activate it. These towers can be found in any region, depending on which demigod you are. They may also be easy to spot on the map. Some towers of demigod are hidden away and will require a lot of exploration. To find the route, you may need to explore smaller dungeons. To activate the god-rune powers associated with it, climb up to a sacred tower. Once activated, you can use a Rune Arc. This will activate your life leech, boost your HP and buffs all of your stats. They are not permanent, but they can give you considerable power. They are somewhat like Embering In Dark Souls III in their execution, but you can choose which buffs to use. Rune Arcs can be obtained from various characters all over the world if you need them. Rats often drop Rune Arcs.

How to get Boss Armor and Weapons

Okay, so you’ve managed to take on one of the big bosses. It’s time to don their armor, and perhaps pick up some of their spells or weapons. What’s an adventurer to do? Head over to the Roundtable Hold – there’s an open room you may not have checked out before. Here, you can cash in your “boss souls” for special weapons and spells, as well as purchase complete armor sets for runes. But what happens if your wish to have more boss weapons or spells? You only receive one token from your boss. Here’s what you do – head out into the open world and find one of the giant bell-ringing stone monstrosities that walk the land. Torrent is your friend. You can clean the skulls from their feet and hop on Torrent. They can crush and trample you if you step on them. After being cleaned up, these giants ponderous beasts won’t move and will allow you to climb in. This is where you can create a duplicate of a boss token in order to gain additional turn-ins. Or you can simply crush them to obtain additional runes. Enjoy!

Light is Might

You may need to use torches for some of the dark caverns in Limgrave on your first journey. This is a frustrating problem that can take up your entire hand. Make it a habit to search for a lantern early so you have a way to easily attach the lantern to your hip and light any area. This will be especially useful as you delve into late-game caves and other dark areas where you’ll need everything at your disposal. There are several different locations to pick up a lantern, but one can be found for purchase early on at the Isolated Merchant’s Shack in the Weeping Penninsula in southern Limgrave, far to the west and on the coast. This merchant also sells a ton of other useful stuff like Stonesword Keys, so it’s a good place to dump some runes early.

You can upgrade your gear (and summons)

One of the most important things you can do in Elden Ring is to increase your weapon level. Upgrade standard weapons to +25 or special weapons to +10. You will need special materials to do this. These are often found in abundance at mines all over the world. You might find that you need a lot of these materials, particularly if you plan to upgrade multiple weapons or experiment. You might be out of certain levels of an upgrade material. To ensure you have enough, keep going to side dungeons all over the globe, particularly the mines. You can earn a bell bearing by completing specific mines. This will allow you to unlock different tiers upgrade materials. The same applies to your summon spell collection. You will find bell bearings which allow you buy ghostwort, and other vital materials, at the end catacombs.dungeons. Having trouble summoning? After you have gained Torrent and the ability of leveling up, head to the Church of Ellah to meet your new character. Here’s a big plus – if you don’t feel like messing with this system, you don’t have to, as many of the unique weapons in the game have their own special moves that can’t be swapped or changed. That’s no problem.

Move Somewhere Else

Many players try to force bosses to the ground. This is possible, however it’s more enjoyable and lucrative to explore the open world. This may seem obvious, given the wide open world. But sometimes it can be hard to get out of your rut and keep hitting someone over the head with the same old way. You can have fun doing that, but you should go out and ride the roads! Even if you think you’ve completely explored an area and farmed it out for every scrap, there’s probably a portal or secret passage that could take you to another realm entirely. There are many ways around obstacles that seem to be prohibitive. Experiment and break everything!
