Elden Ring Patch Fixes Malenia Bug And More

From Software today released a new patch which fixes the Malenia bug, making it much easier for bosses to fight.

Dubbed Update Version 1.04.1, this patch fixes a bug with the Malenia, Blade of Miquella boss fight in Elden Ring’s endgame that allowed her to heal herself at any time if you were in online co-op. Malenia can only self heal if you are harmed. This is a problem. It was quite a problem for players trying to eliminate her who are already considered the toughest boss of the game. This patch addresses this issue, but it also includes a number of other improvements.

Here’s what Update Version 1.04.1 brings to Elden Ring

  • Corrected a bug that caused the duration of Cerulean Hidden Tears to be shortened.
  • Fix for Malenia Blade of Miquella: Her HP wasn’t correctly restored in online multiplayer.
  • A bug was fixed that could cause bosses’ deaths at random times.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the boss “Elden Beast” from working properly under certain circumstances
  • Some textual errors were fixed

“The version number of this update shown at the lower right corner of the Title Screen will be as follows: App Ver. 1.04.1, Regulation Ver. 1.04.2,” the patch notes read.

This update is required in order to be able to play in Elden Ring online. Read on for more information about this game.
