Early Prime Day deal: get a $25 gift card with the Nintendo Switch

Best Buy and Target have a great deal on a Nintendo Switch just in time for Prime Day. If you purchase the Nintendo Switch standard at $299.99, either Best Buy or Target will give you a gift card of $25. If you happen to already pay for Best Buy’s $179.99 per year My Best Buy Total membership, you’ll get a $50 gift card with purchase instead.

It’s surprising (and a bit disappointing) that this promo doesn’t apply to the Nintendo Switch OLED or Switch Lite. However, it’s worth checking out if you, or someone you know, are one of the few gamers that don’t already own a Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch offers more games than any other console, even with newer handhelds such as the Steam Deck or Asus ROG Ally. Metroid Dread, New Pokémon SnapThen, Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of Zelda.
