EA Reportedly Cancels Single-Player Game Set In Titanfall, Apex Legends Universe
Electronic Arts has reported that it cancelled an exclusive single-player game from the Titanfall and Apex Legends universes.
The following news is from BloombergAccording to a report by, three sources familiar with the matter claim that EA has canceled the project code-named TFL (or Titanfall Legends), which was being developed at Apex Legends creator Respawn Entertainment. EA will apparently try to place these workers elsewhere. According to EA, if positions are not found, employees might be offered severance package. Bloomberg.
According to the publication, Mohammad Alavi (Titanfall 2 Apex Legends Designer) was supposed to be in charge of this game. However, he left the company by 2022.
This canceled, single-player Titanfall game was most likely the one that was hinted at in job postings back in July. They referred to it as “Apex Universe FPS Title Incubation Title.”
EA’s announcement of the cancellation comes soon after it announced that Apex Legends Mobile would be shut down and Battlefield Mobile will be shuttered. Industrial Toys was also closed. EA announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a single-player Star Wars video game. This was in line with its financial results.
