Dynasty Warriors Studio Reveals Wild Hearts, A Monster Hunter-Like Game Coming Early Next Year

Electronic Arts has announced Wild Hearts by Koei Tecmo, a Monster Hunter-like video game that will be coming to PlayStation 5 (Xbox Series X/S) and PC in the next year. 

More specifically, this EA Originals title will be released on February 17, 2023. The reveal trailer for the game has been released. We see lots of monster hunting. It seems that the game takes place in an imaginary land full of dangerous and large beasts. In order to defeat more monsters and ultimately tame the wild, you will need better gear.

Wild Hearts is great, especially for those who are fans of Capcom’s Monster Hunter series. 

Yosuke Hayashi, Koei Tecmo’s executive vice president for marketing and communications wrote in a release that Wild Hearts “opens up a vibrant fantasy realm to players that is as untamed it is beautiful.” Wild Hearts is a showcase for the creation, infusion and threat of Kemono. However, crafting is at the heart of Wild Hearts. This rewrites the possibilities in beast hunting. The Karakuri was designed with combat in mind. It’s exciting for players to explore the vast array of powerful tools available to them to take on giant beasts, fight and even traverse the planet. 

Wild Hearts takes place in Azuma. This fantasy setting was inspired by feudal Japan and is now being ravaged by Kemono. The Kemono include plant-infused squirrels and large creatures like the Kingtusk wild hare. 

The press release states that players are made bearers of life-sustaining technology after a terrible fight against the Winter Wolf Deathstalker. 

You and two friends can fight Kemono together in co-op. It will also feature cross-play, which allows PlayStation users to play with Xbox buddies and vice versa. It will also be compatible with PC. 

Wild Hearts is available for Xbox Series X/S on PS5, Xbox Series X/S (PC via Origin, Steam and Epic Game Store) February 17, 2023. The price will be $69.99
