Dying Light gets free PS5 upgrade; Xbox Series X patch coming soon

Techland said Tuesday it had released a patch to the original. Dying lightThe patch will be added to the 2015 PlayStation 5 title. The studio announced that a patch bringing similar enhancements to Xbox Series X will be available later.

This patch introduces three video modes and a 25% increase of (in-world), viewing distance. You can choose between a performance mode that displays 60 frames per second at full HD resolution, a quality mode with 30 frames per second at 4K resolution or a balanced mode which displays 60 frames/second in Quad High Definition.

It also includes enhancements that are available to owners of the 4 Pro. Dying light’s 30 fps cap and brings a new networking solution to the game.

Dying light Launched Jan. 27, 2015, on Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4. There was also a re-release that included all the DLC and launched on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One in May. The game then went to Nintendo Switch in October. There will be a sequel. Keep Humanity Alive by Dying LightOriginally released on PlayStation 4 (February 4, 2005), it was also available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. It is expected that the Nintendo Switch version will launch sometime prior to June.
