Dying Light 2 Stay Human Patch Fixes And Improvements Detailed

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a fun and ambitious game, but it’s not without technical drawbacks. Earlier today, Techland dropped a patch for consoles and Computer designed to squash various bugs while bolstering the adventure with some improvements. If you’re looking forward to running amok in Villedor this weekend, your romp should be smoother. 

Techland tweeted each batch of updates by platform, which we’ve listed here below: 

PC

• Additional video settings, including motion blur or distance blur.
• Players who have been stuck with fixed blocks after a co-op session end up in death loops. Edge cases that are not yet fixed may be investigated.
• The button on the death screen allows you to spawn players within the mission area, preventing blockages
• Numerous crashes fixed and game stability improved
• Option to change in-game voiceover from English or localized.
• Numerous improvements to keyboard and mouse keybinding options, including walk toggle option and toggle switch between toggle or hold aiming.
• For co-op session peers, proper music plates are now available

PlayStation/Xbox

• Fixed several situations where Players were disconnected from co-op
• Many crashes were fixed
• Different story blocks fixed
• Additional video settings, including motion blur or distance blur.
• Player ending up in a deathloop following a session of co-op
• Fixed issue where player couldn’t sell valuables to vendor
• Music streamer mode issue fixed – one song is now not being muted
• Issue fixed with AI becoming immortal in rare circumstances while playing in coop
• Fixed various problems with stealth gameplay when playing in co-op
• Fixed various problems that could have prevented AI from being blocked in geometry
• Addition of various AI visual adjustments, including AI animation-related problems
• Many balance improvements
• Resolved Rare problems when co-op peers were not able to view the dialogue choices
• Different performance optimizations
• There are many situations that can cause endless black screen problems.
• Co-op fixes for AI dead body replication
• Unlimitable loading
• On co-op session, custom music was set for the peers
• PlayStation 5 screen flickering has been fixed
• Xbox Series X has enabled 60+FPS VRR mode
