Dying Light 2 Stay Human and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Are Crossing Over

Released on 22 May 2013. Gunslinger: Call of JuarezThe game was hailed by critics and fans as one of the best, due to its arcade-inspired gameplay. It also featured comic book visuals and humor, with historical influences. The story opens with the renowned Silas Greaves entering the Bull’s Head Saloon in Abilene, Kansas. They recognize him and ask him to recall his former glory.

After this moment, the player gets to reenact the main character’s past in the form of a playable retelling of the story that blurs the line between fact and fiction. In the course of the story, the main character is often caught up in shootouts and turret firing, as well as dynamite mishaps and duels. He was a true one-man military.

Gunplay played a key role in bringing the game’s mechanics into harmony. There are three types of weapons available for the player to select: revolvers shotguns or rifles. They would all come in handy when fighting those who have wronged Silas Greaves. This was combined with a mobile gameplay that mimicked arcade games where each kill earns points. The more difficult the shot is, the higher the performance. It’s all about style! The situation would be even worse when historical figures like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were included.

But the real twist to all of this was that Silas’ story and, hence, the gameplay could change at any minute. Every interruption made by Silas’ unreliable narrator persona or the captivated listeners at the saloon could lead to an entirely new scene. This film was a Western with all of the necessary grit, yet it did not take itself seriously. It was this secret sauce which made the film so memorable.

The Crossing With Dying light

Ten years later, our team at Techland has gone on to shift focus to Dying Light — but this doesn’t mean the memory of our Wild West tales will fade to dust. It’s far from that! We are celebrating the legacy of Call of Juarez by launching an event to commemorate it. The Stay Human in Dying Light 2.Undead Or Alive is the name of this event.

In this crossover event, you will be taking on the role of a vigilant protector. It is up to the player to find Mean-Ass Guns to put some holes in foul enemies — aim for the heads and send them straight back to hell. By pursuing event objectives, you can earn dynamite throwables, Ray McCall’s Charm, Bowie Knife, a weapon blueprint, and 25 Pilgrim Tokens.

Techland’s team will release Gunslinger Bundle at $6.99 for May 31. You can take the role of Silas Greaves with this bundle. The Stay Human in Dying Light 2.. It includes his iconic red poncho, bloody cowboy cap and a replica of the outfit. The Gunslinger pack includes The Gunslinger Paraglider, Bowie Knife and weapon blueprints.
