Dune 2 gets an official release

It was released just days later. Dune Part One official release of its sequel. Dune Part Two Frank Herbert’s first novel, The End of Time, will now be complete and released on October 20, 2023. Legendary Pictures announcedTomorrow is Tuesday.

The Dune sequel was always part of director Denis Villeneuve’s plans, but until now the studio hadn’t officially greenlit the sequel. It means nothing will be from Part 2The film has not been completed, however the production will likely resume in the near future.

Villeneuve will return for the sequel, while much of the cast — including Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica Atreides, Zendaya as Chani, and Stellan Skarsgård as baron Vladimir Harkonnen — are expected to return. The film will not reveal who else may be returning, but Villeneuve is expected to return for the sequel.

Dune Part OneIt is available in theatres and on HBO Max. Subscribers can stream it until 30 days following its original release.
