Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot New-Gen Version Gets January Release Date In New Trailer

Bandai Namco released a trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s new-gen release. It also announced that the game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S starting in January. 

Kakarot is coming to the new-gen consoles in January 2023. We are just months away from the re-release. Bandai Namco released a trailer today that showcases some of DBZ’s greatest moments and compares clips from the upcoming version with the new-gen console. It looks much better, as you can see.

Kakarot for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 features improved visuals, 60 frames per second gameplay, as well as updated graphics. You can upgrade your existing copy of Kakarot to the latest-gen version for no cost if you own it. 

Also, the trailer shows what is in store for Season 2 of this game. Bardock: Alone Against Fate is the first DLC and features a brand new story arc. The season pass also includes two additional story arc DLCs. Season Pass 2 holders will receive a cooking ingredient that boosts HP and Ki defense.
