Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Celebrates Its 7th Birthday With a Huge Update
Many Dragon Ball games have been released over the years – ranging from 3D arena fighters to action RPGs following Goku’s legendary story.
However, out of the many released, the Xenoverse series has held a grip on fans’ hearts with its unique take on the Dragon Ball universe.
Original Dragon Ball Xenoverse made its debut in 2015, offering a truly original story and the opportunity for fans to create their own customizable characters, where they try to save history (or Goku’s story as they know it) by taking on the role of Time Patrollers who serve to protect the timeline.
To the delight of all fans in 2016, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. launched, and it’s still going strong to this day. In 2023. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.The term “also known as” DBXV2(continues to receive updates and new content, and the game has taken a step forward.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.The new game will be available to all players. Free Big Update on October 12, that includes the Festival of Universes event, a new multiplayer battle mode called Cross Versus, and more!
To celebrate, we’ve asked Jun Song, the Producer of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.Answer a few of your questions regarding the game or the latest update.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. has been going strong for more than 7 years; what are some challenges you’ve faced when trying to keep the content fresh for the player base?
Jun Song:I’d like to start by thanking everyone who has played so far. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.Seven years after the release of its first edition. Your continued warmth is appreciated! It’s not easy to keep meeting expectations over the long term, but we have always tried to keep Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.Close to our Players
Since the beginning of our game, we have released about 17 free updates. By regularly adding new Raid Quests as well as customizable items and other content to keep players interested, we strive to create an atmosphere where they can experience the game from a different perspective.
There are also several free paid versions available.Download DLC Packs[も中1] , most recently “Conton City Vote Pack,” which includes characters selected by player votes, and the “Hero of Justice Pack,” which consists of the main characters and original scenario from the latest “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” movie.
Outside the game, a “Super Fashion Contest,” a player-participatory event where players compete to see how fashionable their avatars are, which they created with their own ideas in mind, was also held.
To know which content, what players like, and its popularity is the most difficult thing to do. This is also why I think the game has been so successful. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.The size of the city has increased dramatically.

Jun Song:Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2,Like other long-running games,, too, is experiencing a split between existing and new players, due to the differences in their experience and playing opportunities.
The world of could be enjoyed by more players if the content was designed to allow both existing and new players to play together. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2., and we came up with the idea of “Cross Versus” content.
Cross Versus is a new battle mode where two teams of 3 compete against one another. It is a simple rule that teams must collect mission points to access boss areas.
Cross Versus however isn’t just a group game. During the battle, for example, each player starts at the exact same level. Your own style and strengths will determine how you progress. There is also a mechanism to interfere with the opposing team’s moves, so it is essential to know how to contribute to the team and to assess the battle situation.
Please join us and enjoy the excitement. We also offer new badges as rewards for completing various conditions in Cross Versus battles – and you can show them off to other players before you begin, so there’s and incentive to succeed in various different ways.
Update 2 also includes Festival of Universes. What is the Festival of Universes?
Jun Song:Festival of Universes will become a regular Universe event starting with the current update.
The player chooses a universe and becomes a member of the team that includes all other players from this universe. Glory Points are earned by participating in an event. After the event is over, the Universe with the highest number of Glory Points will win. You can earn Glory Points by playing all the modes in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.. Cross Versus, of course, is eligible. Milk Delivery Quest also provides a nice change in pace.
For this event, we have also added new lobbies as well as new rewards. Check out the new features in this game.
Can fans expect any new abilities from the players in future games?
Jun Song: In this update, we will implement the Awoken Skill “Ultra Instinct,” which can be applied to all avatars of all races.
Upon awakening, it consumes energy to evade an opponent’s attack automatically, and with additional input, a counterattack becomes possible. The exclusive technique skill of power recovery is now available. Also, the Ki Blast attacks are transformed to a unique one.
You can also become Ultra Instinct by trying it on yourself!
The following are some of the ways to get in touch with us DBXV2Like any series that has been around for a long time, the community is welcoming. But it may be intimidating to new players. Have you got any tips for players that want to join and explore the new game modes?
Jun Song:Players of all backgrounds can benefit from the events and modes of battle that are included in this updated.
Cross Versus is a good example. Everyone starts out at the same level, and players can level up to gain the ultimate skills during the battles. This allows even newbies in the game to participate. Festival of Universes allows you to enjoy all modes. So if battles are your thing, go for it. But if they’re not, try quests.
