Disney releases a rockin’ trailer for a new Muppets show

Since 1945, the most famous rock band (Muppet version), has not been recorded. Now, one new Disney Plus show is brave enough to give them the chance at true rock ’n’ roll stardom.

The Muppets Mayhem will span 10 whole episodes and track The Electric Mayhem Band — who, as you’ll surely remember, is made up of Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone, and Lips on trumpet — in their exploration of the modern music industry.

Nora Singh, played by Lily Singh, is a young music executive who helps the band to adjust to the modern music scene and create their album.

They will get (human stardom) after all their hard work in the Muppet circuit over the past decades. We’ll find out when the show premieres on Disney Plus on May 10.

Singh is not the only one. Muppets MayhemTahj Mowry plays Moog. Saara Chaudry portrays Hannah. Bill Barretta portrays Dr. Teeth. Eric Jacobson, Bill Barretta, Dave Goelz and Dave Goelz are Dr. Teeth. Matt Vogel is Floyd Pepper. Anders Holm returns as JJ. Linda Perry, Songwriter Hall of Fame Inductee and executive music producer of the event will provide original music.
