Disney Plus Is Officially The New Home To Ousted Netflix MCU Shows

If you missed out on watching the Marvel Defenders series like DaredevilAnd Jessica JonesThese shows were available on Netflix but they are now unavailable. The good news is Disney is making room on its streaming service for all of the MCU-related TV shows.

Disney+, the only place you can watch all seasons of every season starting March 16th Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, The DefendersYou can also find former ABC shows here Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which was missing in the Marvel series. They will now be available on the same platform as other shows. Agent CarterThere are some Disney+ content that wasn’t made specifically for Disney+. It is also not tied directly to current Marvel Cinematic Universe stories. However, the Netflix roster, which has always been part of the MCU canon, has only recently started to be more directly referenced in the newer movies/Disney+ shows so bringing them home makes more sense than ever. 

Disney and Marvel don’t know if the series moving to Disney+ will get additional seasons, specials or movies, though there are plenty of shows that hit the Disney+ streaming service. The shows are not family friendly and can be quite violent. However, Disney+ subscribers in the United States will have some parental controls that they’ll see alongside them. These shows will be available on March 16 for Canada, Australia, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
