The lore of the Blood Knight is based on Diablo’s version of vampires. Blood Knights is a group of humans that have been bitten and turned into vampires. However, they can reverse the curse by using an ancient ritual. Blood Knights will eventually succumb to Thralldom, but they have a keepsake to keep the darkness away.
