Diablo IV: Vessel Of Hatred Expansion Brings Players To A Lush Jungle Biome Late Next Year

Blizzard Entertainment revealed that Diablo IV’s first expansion is called Vessel of Hatred and will arrive late next year. Diablo’s team announced this information over the weekend, during BlizzCon 20, where we also learned of three new World of Warcraft additions as well as three new Overwatch 2 characters.

Blizzard did not reveal many details about Vessel of Hatred during BlizzCon, saying that it would share them next summer. It will continue the storyline that started in Diablo 4. In a release, it is stated that the game “Vessels of Hatred” will bring players to Sanctuary in order to find out the fate and demonic plans of Mephisto. Travel to the jungles of Nahantu, as the locals call them.

Blizzard said Vessel of Hatred would allow players to travel to a brand new area, defeat new enemies, and, perhaps most importantly, discover new methods to fight demons and find chests. This Class is “never been seen before in Diablo Universe.”

Blizzard has not revealed anything else about Vessel of Hatred. Diablo IV’s initial expansion is expected to release in late 2024.
