Diablo IV Gets Another Open Beta Weekend Next Month

Diablo IV may have gone gold, but Blizzard once to ensure the servers are durable one more time before launch. Thus, it’s opening the gates of Sanctuary to players one more time in a third open beta next month.

The next testing weekend is called Server Slam Weekend and runs May 12-14. Blizzard’s Server Slam weekend beta is being run to ensure that the servers are up to date and stable for the June launch. The content of this beta is the same as the March versions, but there will be updates and fixes based on feedback from the earlier betas.

Server Slam weekend will be a clean slate as progression from the previous betas does not carry over. Additionally, the beta supports couch co-op, cross-play, and cross-progression. Fractured Peaks is available in both the Act I and II Prologues. Players will be able to explore the entire game, including the World Events and Ashava the hardest World Boss. The following rewards can be earned by completing challenges:

  • Initial Casualty: Earned by reaching Kyovashad in one character
  • Early Voyager (earned when you reach Level 20 with one character).
  • This cosmetic is earned by reaching level 20 on one character.
  • The Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy is now available.
