Diablo III Season 27 – The Light’s Calling Begins August 26
You can start Season 27 starting August 26 Diablo III. You can harness the Angelic Crucible and transform Legendary items you have into Sanctified products, as well as two seasonal cosmetic rewards.

Sanctuary calls to you. The award-winning RPG’s 27th season will start on August 26 at 5 PM (PDT/CEST/KST). With a new seasonal theme, new rewards, balance changes, and more—there is plenty for you to explore.
Season 27 Theme
In Season 27, Light’s Calling, valiant Nephalem can recover Angelic Crucibles, a new season-exclusive consumable item, that can be used to Sanctify equippable Legendary items.
By Sanctifying an item, players infuse it with one of three new, random class-specific powers, such as the Wizard’s spellbinding Magic Missiles shown above. Angelic Crucibles can help you tap into your strengths, and show off what makes each one of these classes shine. Our blog contains a full listing of the class powers. The power that your Sanctified objects will bring is up to you.
Seasonal Cosmetics
Season 27 will bring two brand new End of Journey cosmetic prizes to the players. The End of Journey cosmetic rewards will allow players to stand in tandem against demonic threats. In Season 17, we also started reintroducing rewards previously unavailable to players. Players will now be able to redeem the rewards they earned in Season 15, which means Season 27 will bring back those previously available. These include portrait frames based on the Eternal Conflict as well as the Chest and Glove slots from the Conqueror Set. Belphegor is the available pet for this season, and will accompany you as you explore Sanctuary.

You can now return to mortal realms using deadly new abilities of blood, bones and essence. Rise of the Necromancer packs contain a wealth of content. This includes the Necromancer hero character class as well as two more characters. It also grants you Necromancer-themed content to all of your characters. This includes Wings of the Crypt Guard, a Half Formed Golem pet and a portrait frame.
