Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 2 Now Live

Sharpen your swords and muster your might – Ladder Season 2 of Diablo II: ResurrectedThe new Terror Zones, Sundering Charms, and other features are now available. You can get in on the action now and climb the leaderboards to defeat the evil demons. You can also enjoy all the Quality-of-Life updates and bug fixes that were added to the Patch 2.5.

Season 2 of Ladder

Season Two of Ladder The next chance to get to 99 levels and gain powerful loot is here. Terror Zones will be introduced and Sundering Charms will help you defeat foes. If you are new to Ladder Seasons and wondering about what happens to your Shared Stash loot after the current season is over, here’s some information. Ladder Season One is over. All Ladder characters will move to their non-ladder counterparts. All items in that character group’s shared stash go into a new Withdraw Only set of Shared Stash tabs, denoted by a check marked Past box. All items that players wish to withdraw can be done during Ladder Season Two. The season will end and this withdrawal-only set stash tabs can be replaced with items from the Ladder Second Shared Stash. If you want to save your items, make sure that you get them before the season ends.

Terror Zones

 To make the journey to level 99 accessible to a larger population of players, offer more variety other than repeatedly farming Baal, Diablo, and Nihlathak, and most importantly, remain challenging, Terror ZonesIntroduced. When playing a Terror Zone-enabled game, every hour, diabolical tremors infused with the Lord of Destruction’s unwavering corruption overtake specific zones, terrorizing the monsters within, making them at least two levels higher than your current level or their original level, up to a maximum per difficulty. This level will determine the level of XP and loot you get from killing terrorized creatures. Our latest blog has more information about how the monster level will change.

To Unlock the Terror Zones feature, you must defeat Baal per character, per difficulty using any expansion character – existing characters that have already fulfilled the requirements will automatically have this feature unlocked. To unlock Terror Zones for their ladder characters, players must meet the requirements of Ladder Season 2.  

Discover New Charms for Sundering

Hell difficulty monsters have the ability to receive resistance increases of over 100%. These monsters are now immune from certain types of damage. Previously there were only a handful of ways to reduce a monster’s immunity, which means only a small portion of hero builds could successfully farm all zones. To solve this scenario and promote increased class build diversity, we’ve introduced Six Sundering CharmsThis charm allows the player to remove specific immunity types from monsters while it is still in inventory. These new charms can only be obtained from terrorized monsters that are of Champion, Unique or Superunique difficulty.
