Diablo 2: Resurrected Patch 2.4 will rebalance classes in January

Diablo 2 The first time that the market has been rebalanced in 10 years is thanks to Diablo 2 Resurrected and patch 2.4, which will launch in the game’s public test realm shortly after the new year.

Blizzard developers noted, in explaining the patch: “The original was not available.” Diablo 2 received patch 1.13c in 2010, and it “was officially the last time balance changes were added to the game.” Thus, in terms of gameplay, Diablo 2 Resurrected’s classes picked up where they left off 11 years ago when the remaster launched at the end of September.

“With the game reintroduced to modern audiences, we feel now is the right time to evolve Diablo 2 even further with patch 2.4,” developers said in a news release, “which will introduce improvements to balance, some exciting item changes, and more.”

Blizzard provides more information on this, but developers are noticing some styles become more feasible in general terms. Diablo 2: Resurrected Or, in the reverse, they may find it more difficult than they expected. Blizzard is looking to improve certain skills, in an effort to get players to use different perk areas. Developers offered a more detailed explanation on Wednesday, but the general sense is that they’re looking to enhance, and incentivize, more than they are looking to nerf.

These changes take effect prior to ranked Ladder play. This will include four Ladder modes: standard, hardcore and with or without Lord of Destruction expansion. Players can unlock Runewords not found in the original game by playing Ranked Ladder. Diablo 2. Also, the words are not available for non-Ladder play.
