Destiny 2’s raid Rotator will give players reasons to play old content

Destiny 2’s latest weekly update had good news for fans of the game’s old content. In the new This Week at Bungie post, the developer revealed a few more details on the game’s upcoming Rotator system, which will reward players for going back to certain old raids and dungeons every week.

Rotator’s new system will provide weekly and seasonal challenges that players can complete. In the seasonal version, the season’s new raid and dungeon will each grant Pinnacle rewards for all of their encounters. You will receive Pinnacle gear once you complete the raid rotator or dungeon rotation.

Weekly rotations, on the other hand, will feature every raid and dungeon that isn’t in the seasonal rotation. These rewards allow you to take on any type of challenge that you wish. After completing a raid or dungeon, the weekly rotation only rewards players with a pinnacle drop.

There is also an added bonus to the new system: farming. The new system will allow raids and other dungeons to no longer lock out Legendary gear once it is available. This means that players can rerun these encounters as many times as they want and they’ll be eligible for Legendary rewards every time.

Rotation is coming to Destiny 2 As part of Season 17, which should begin somewhere around May 25,
