Destiny 2 Xur location and items, June 10-14

Xur is the weekly Exotics item merchant and hangs out at random places around Destiny. In Destiny 2He is able to appear anywhere on the globe, including inside the Tower. You can locate Xur this week in The TowerHanging out on the back steps of the Hangar.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

• Two-Tailed Fox and Void/Solar Rocket Launcher: 29 Legendary Shards
• Hunter legs, Fr0st-EE5, 23 Legendary Shards
• Peregrine Greaves and Titan Legs: 23 Legendary Shards
• Eye of Another World Warlock Helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Engram: You can purchase an additional Exotic Cipher to get a second one.
• Exotic Cipher quest: free

Season of the Risen The Witch Queen, Xur sells a random roll of both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale each week.

Here’s what he’s selling this weekend:

• Hawkmoon Kinetic hand cannon (Rangefinder), 125,000 Glimmer 200 Legendary Shards Exotic Cipher and Ascendant Shard
• Dead Man’s Tale, Kinetic scout rifle (Outlaw): 125,000 Glimmer, 200 Legendary Shards, Exotic Cipher, Ascendant Shard

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of old armor and weapons — similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. These items are usually difficult to find as they come from past seasons. The cost of each item, be it armor or weapon, is only 1,000 Glimmer plus 50 Legendary Shards.

Xur’s Legendary inventory this week consists of the following:

• Whispering Slab and Kinetic Bow
• Imperial Needle, Void bow
• Gridskipper, Void pulse gun
• Fractethyst shotgun, Stasis
• Iota Draconis, Solar fusion rifle
• Blast Battue, Arc grenade launcher
• Stars in Shadow, Solar pulse gun
• Set of Dead Orbit Armor

Xur’s items drop at a power level similar to that of your character.

Fox with two tails

Two-Tailed Fox rocket launcher is exotic from Forsaken. This is its primary perk. Twintails, causes it to launch two rockets instead of one — both of which track targets. Secondary perk: Enjoy Playing with Your PreyOne rocket is used to inflict burning Solar damage on the enemy, while the other suppresses them with Void.

Two-Tailed Fox is a cool rocket launcher that’s interesting and unique to use. Its quality is dependent upon how skilled rocket launchers are during a season. There are better alternatives. If you want an Exotic that’s fun to use but isn’t going to be a mainstay in your arsenal, grab Two-Tailed Fox from Xur this week.

Fr0st-EE5

Fr0st-EE5 Exotics are back! Destiny. The intrinsic perk of this is Rapid cooling. Your dodge, melee, grenade and energy from sprinting will all quickly replenish. Sprint speed will be increased by doing some dodge.

Fr0st EE5’s perk design is fun and feeds back into itself in a clever way. Actual usefulnessHowever, the question of which perk it is is depends on who you ask. Hunters have so many good Exotics that, even if Fr0st-EE5’s regeneration was incredible. This boot has been a favorite of many when it comes to farming Nightfall weapons and speed running content. If you’re a Hunter main and you don’t have this yet, consider grabbing them from Xur.

Peregrine Greaves

Peregrine GreavesTitans that love to smash their knees into opponents at top speed will appreciate this Exotic. Exotic perk: Peregrine StrikeAll shoulder charge abilities can deal bonus damage to the target if they are activated during mid-air. Peregrine Strike’s bonus damage can easily take out Major enemies. This is a great Titan Exotic that’s also really fun to use. This is a great Titan Exotic to have if you’re a Titan player.

Eye of Another World

It Cerebral Uplink perk on Eye of Another WorldThis will allow you to identify potential targets, as well passively increasing your regeneration for melee, grenade and Rift abilities. It’s one of the Warlocks’ best catch-all Exotics, and certainly worth picking up if you don’t have it yet.

Exotic Cipher quest

Start in Beyond LightXur is now searching for the Exotic Cipher. An Exotic Cipher allows you to buy Exotics in an old form at the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur is asking you to take 21 Strikes and win Crucible or Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
