Destiny 2 Xur location and items, Jan. 28 – Feb. 1

Xur is the weekly Exotics item merchant and hangs out at random places around Destiny. In Destiny 2He can be found all around the world, and even inside the Tower. You can locate Xur this week in the TowerYou can hang out with the Steps backThe Hangar.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

• Two-Tailed Fox and Void Rocket Launcher: 29 Legendary Shards
• 23 Legendary Shards
• Lion Rampant, Titan legs 23 Legendary Shards
• Karnstein Armlets, Warlock chest: 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Emgram: 97 Legendary Shards. You can also purchase another Exotic Cipher.
• Exotic Cipher quest: free

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of old armor and weapons — similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. These items can be difficult to find, and are often from years past. The cost of each item, be it armor or weapon, is only 1,000 Glimmer plus 50 Legendary Shards.

Xur’s Legendary inventory this week consists of the following:

• Arc hand cannon, Nature of the Beast
• Seventh Seraph SI-2, Void sidearm
• Night Watch and Kinetic scout rifle
• Wishbringer, Solar shotgun
• First In, Last Out, Arc shotgun

• Season of the Lost Armor Set

Fox Two-Tailed

Two-Tailed Fox rocket launcher is exotic from Forsaken. The primary perk is the. Twintails, causes it to launch two rockets instead of one — both of which track targets. The secondary benefit is You can play with your preyOne rocket is used to inflict burning Solar damage on the enemy, while the other suppresses them with Void.

Two-Tailed Fox is a cool rocket launcher that’s interesting and unique to use. Its quality is heavily dependent upon how skilled rocket launchers are during a season. There are better alternatives. If you want an Exotic that’s fun to use but isn’t going to be a mainstay in your arsenal, grab Two-Tailed Fox from Xur this week.

Galanor Shards

Galanor ShardsAfter some major nerfs, it is now a shadow version of its former self. Shards’ Exotic perk is Sharp EdgesThis will refund Super energy depending upon how many blades were hit by Blade Barrage. The Super refund is capped, so you’ll never get the entire thing back. If you love Blade Barrage, it’s a great way to Super a bit more every Strike or Crucible match you play. If you’re a Hunter, don’t miss out on these gauntlets.

Lion Rampant

Lion RampantThis exotic is great to keep in certain circumstances. The main benefit of this Exotic is Jump JetsThe enables you to fly higher and more accurately while flying. That may not sound like much (and it isn’t, in most cases), but some players swear by these in PvP and in jumping activities like the Gauntlet or the Reactor Room. Pick these up and keep them around; you never know when you’ll need a more accurate jump.

Karnstein Armlets

The Karnstein ArmletsThese powerful Warlock Exotics are fun and effective. Exotic Perk Vampire’s CaressThis will give the player a lot of health after a melee hit and also grant them a healing effect. Karnstein Armlets should be a must-have for Warlock players. These armlets are extremely helpful in PvE PvP. Do not let these pass you by if you don’t have them yet.

Exotic Cipher quest

Beginning in Beyond LightXur is now searching for the Exotic Cipher. You can buy Exotics at the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk located in the tower with the Exotic Cipher. You’ll need these items and some other currencies to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur is asking you to take 21 Strikes and win Crucible or Gambit matches. By finishing the quest, you’ll earn an Exotic Cipher to use however you want.
