Our newest expansion, The Witch QueenLaunches Today alongside the Season of the Risen. This is the beginning Destiny 2’sThe fifth year. We hope you’ve been following along since the expansion’s announcement in August; not only did we kick things off with a huge showcase event, but we’ve also released cinematics, trailers, blogs, and a really cool behind-the-scenes ViDoc. Now, it’s over. The Witch QueenIt is here.
Whether you’re a New Light or a seasoned Guardian, join us in Destiny 2. The first two missions can be completed in The Witch QueenTry the new crafting method. You’ll walk away with a new Glaive that’ll upgrade your arsenal, even if you decide you don’t want to pick up the expansion. The new PsiOps battlegrounds activity allows you to face the Lucent Hive and unlock Seasonal track rewards.
Today begins the final chapter in the Light and Darkness story. We invite you to join us in our fight for the Light.
The Witch Queen
We view the latest Destiny expansion, like the Witch Queen herself see it as an extension to the Taken King expansion that we published six years back.

The DefinitiveDestiny 2Campaign
Learn the story of how the Witch queen obtained the Light to give to her friends. You will find the complete guide. Destiny experience, we’ve infused the campaign with elements that have been fine-tuned in our most memorable Exotic quests and dungeons.
Legendary Mode
For the first time ever, we’re introducing the new pinnacle of campaign challenges: Legendary Mode. In Legendary Mode, you’ll play through the campaign while testing the limits of your skill. Be a legend! You will be rewarded with prestigious prizes for your efforts.
Making weapons
Finally, crafting is here Destiny 2. It allows players to create weapons, including the new Glaive, with their own perks, shaders and stats. Like most of us, I’m sure you already have an idea of what makes for a perfect Destiny 2 weapon. You can now build it.
The Glaive
It is the most recent weapon archetype after Bows. It can be built at the Relic, then used to fire projectiles, perform melee combinations, or create shields.
The Throne World
Made up of several distinct sections, this new destination is where you’ll travel to decipher new mysteries. Explore the newly added Wellspring activity, Vow of the Disciple Raid, and a brand-new Light-wielding enemy, the Lucent Hive.

Season of the Risen begins today
The Witch Queen’s arrival has sent ripples throughout the system and the Vanguard have turned to their Cabal ally, Empress Caiatl, for assistance. Guardians are equipped with Light-suppressing technology, and a complete overhaul of the Void class. They will be facing an unrelenting army that has risen from the dead.
Battlegrounds of PsiOps
In this new matchmade activity, teams of Guardians meet the Witch Queen’s army on the battlefield where they’ll use Light-suppressing technology to target her lieutenants and destroy their connection to the Light.
Void 3.0
The Void subclass is now free for all players. It has been completely revamped to take advantage of Stasis’s Aspects and Fragments system. There are now three Aspects available to each class, as well as an abundance of Fragments for customizing their builds with pinpoint precision.
Exotic Quests
Guardians are required to investigate the Psionic anti Caiatl propaganda coming from Mars bunker and unlock Exotic Wave Frame Grenade Launcher.
Synaptic Spear
Season of the RisenDual purposes can be achieved by the Seasonal Artifact. Not only can it be used to unlock mods to customize your playstyle, but you’ll utilize the Spear’s Light-suppressing technology to enter the minds of the Witch Queen’s Hive Guardians.
There are new Legendary weapons and armor as well as a Seasonal story, which directly links to The Witch Queen.
