Destiny 2: The Witch Queen: All the new Exotics in the new expansion

Destiny 2’s new expansion, The Witch QueenIt’s finally here. As expected, it’s brought with it some new Exotic toys to play with. There are two new Exotic armor pieces for each class (six total), and eight new Exotic weapons — including three class-specific Glaives.

As usual, we expect all the armor pieces will come from high difficulty lost sectors. Bungie revealed that Exotics can be obtained by players completing the Legendary Campaign for the Expansion. Weapons will be available from several sources: the season pass and raid quests. Some cases even the new weapon crafting process.

Here’s everything we know about the 14 new Exotic items in Destiny 2 – The Witch Queen.

Grand Overture Exotic machine guns

The Grand Overture, also known as the Season Pass Exoticin Destiny2: The Witch King’s Season of the Risen. It acts like a Cabal Colossus’ machine gun, and can even shoot micro missiles at enemies.

Parasite Exotic grenade launcher

Parasite Exotic’s Parasite grenade launcher shoots Hive Worms at its targets. It does more damage than a regular grenade launcher. It’s also currently unclear how players will acquire this Exotic.

Osteo Striga Exotic submachine gun

The pre-order Exotic is Osteo Straiga. Destiny 2 – The Witch Queen. But it looks like Guardians will still need to earn this gun, as it’s the first craftable Exotic in the series history. This gun can fire special projectiles which poison targets.

The Dead Messenger Exotic Grenade Launcher

Exotic quest: Season of the Risen. The Dead Messenger grenade-launcher is available. Not much is known about the gun at the moment, but it looks to be a wave-form — shooting lines of explosions, rather than a single burst — grenade launcher that lets players swap between elements.

Edge of Action Edge of Intent Edge of Concurrence, Edge of Action and Edge of Intent Exotic Titan, Warlock, Hunter glaives

Edge of Action, Edge of Intent and Edge of Concurrence are Void glaives. Every weapon has a unique class that players cannot use on specific characters. Each one also comes with its own function. Players can get a miniature-Titan bubble from the Edge of Action. For allies, the Edge of Intent will drop a special healing buddy. The Edge of Concurrence emits an electric pulse which shocks and causes chains of damage to enemies.

Hoarfrost Z is now the Stasis Exotic Titans’ new chest. This chest will replace Barricade’s special Stasis walls when equipped. Behind the Stasis walls, Titans will receive the same benefits that Rally Barricades.

Loreley Splendor Titan helmet

The new Solar Exotic for Titans is the Loreley Splendor. When the helmet’s equipped, players can stand in the Sun Spot to heal them. Titans instantly will spawn Sun Spots under their skin when they are seriously wounded.

Osmiomancy Gauntlets Warlock glove

The Osmiomancy Gauntlets are Warlock’s new Stasis Exotic. The Exotic perk of the Osmiomancy Gauntlets allows Warlocks two Coldsnap Grenades charges. Warlocks are able to spawn up to two Bleakwatcher Turrets simultaneously.

Secant Filaments Warlock Legs

Secant Filaments, also called “Devour Legs” by Bungie, are Warlock’s new Void Exotic. Secant Filaments’ Exotic perk grants players Devour when they cast an Empowering Rift, letting them heal off of kills.

Renewal Grasps Hunter gloves

Renewal Grasps have become the Hunter Stasis Exotic. They have an Exotic perk that grants them the bonus of Duskfield Grenades. This allows for a greater aura, and lowers outgoing damage from enemies who are trapped within.

Blight Ranger Helm Hunter helmet

Blight Ranger Helm, the Arc Exotic For Hunters. Players can deflect projectiles from the Arc Staff Super to increase damage and get more Orbs of Power.

There are at least one weapon Exotics hidden from view — likely being the raid Exotic. We’ll update this post as we learn more in the coming days and weeks of Destiny 2 – The Witch Queen.
