Destiny 2 – Season of the Seraph Begins

Remain vigilant, Guardian. Xivu Arath, the Hive God of War, has set her sights on Rasputin’s network of weaponized satellites. Whether you’re meeting her for the first time, or you’ve heard the tales of her malevolent machinations, we’ll need all the help we can get on this seemingly impossible mission.

Your mission during Season of the Seraph starts with a race against the clock to reclaim pieces of Rasputin’s fragmented consciousness before Xivu Arath’s forces wrap their claws around them. You won’t be all alone in these high-stakes heists. The Vanguard has authorized the use of Seraphs, highly trained and highly lethal Guardians who operate under Rasputin’s jurisdiction.

Heist Battlegrounds

In the new, three-player Heist Battlegrounds matchmade for fireteams, you can storm enemy troops to restore Rasputin’s power and prevent him from becoming a weapon of destruction. You’ll make your way through hordes of enemies, bypassing their security, and using all new infiltrator abilities that can be upgraded for more firepower and new methods of infiltration. You can now hear the spy music, and you can help Rasputin rebuild.

These are the moments that require new artillery. On your missions, you’ll acquire a few new pieces of equipment that will elevate your espionage escapades.

• A new exotic SMG – Swoop in on unsuspecting enemies with The Manticore, the latest innovation from VEIST. Antigrav Repulsors allow you to fly above enemies and show them how strong your tech is. This can be obtained by either playing or purchasing the Season Pass that instantly unlocks the powerful new weapon.
• Mission Exotic: – An orbital platform above the Last City holds a new Exotic Pulse Rifle, Revision Zero. You can break through security one week at a time and get the weapon, before going back inside and getting the many catalysts.
• Weapons of the seraph – VEIST isn’t the Seraph’s choice of weapon foundry by accident. They have been a great help to Serpahs over the years with their high-tech weapons. They’ve provided some new tools to help you on your mission against Xivu Arath. Show your enemies the latest and greatest by getting them through Seasonal activities.
• IKELOS weapons reissued – Fan favorite IKELOS weapons are returning, and we’ve deciphered the schematics so you can craft your perfect roll.
• All-New Seasonal Armor and Weapons – Special agents require special equipment. You can either go with guns in your hands or hide behind the scenes, and equip Seasonal weapons that are modeled after those of the Seraphs before you.
• The new universal ornaments – We get it. Classy, clever, and covert agents shouldn’t be caught wearing the same outfit more than once. Ensure you’ll never be burned on a mission with new universal ornaments fit for a Seraph.

When you’re not sneaking in the shadows to help restore Rasputin, train with other Guardians in the revamped competitive Crucible playlist, now known as Competitive Division.

Competitive Division will have the same 3v3 games that players are familiar with, but it will be a different ladder system. This is how it works:

1. Play a few placement matches to determine which division you’ll be in.
2. Win to be promoted to the next division!

There are plenty of other fierce Guardians standing in your way of reaching the highest division, so make sure you’re armed with your best weaponry and take in your most trustworthy fireteam for a chance of survival.

And for Guardians who are all about that loot, don’t worry. Exclusive rewards can only be earned by playing competitive division, such as the Rose Hand Cannon’s return with updated random rolls and an updated Perk Pool that will put you on the right side of your enemies.

Step into the Light

An excellent spy has many tricks to his or her sleeve. A variety of disguises is one example. On December 6, you can head on over to the Eververse store and cloak yourself in three armor ornament sets inspired by an iconic Ubisoft franchise: a Wolf-Kissed bundle for Titans inspired by Eivor, the Misthios bundle inspired by Kassandra for our Hunters, and the Eagle’s bundle inspired by Altaïr for our Warlocks. You can also purchase the Up My Sleeve finisher, Sparrow, Ghost and a Isu-themed ship.

Let’s not be afraid to shine a light on our enemies and show them how it is done.

Triumphant moments

The Witch Queen and Season of the Seraph are just a few of the many events that have occurred in year 5. Destiny 2. Moments of Triumph are an annual time of reflection that reminds you of your achievements. You can unlock both real and virtual rewards by completing Triumphs.

This year’s rewards include a snazzy Moments of Triumph T-shirt with space for extra patches and a shiny Moments of Triumph pin if you complete certain Triumphs. Two Moments of Triumph icons are available in the game: a Ghost and a Sparrow.
