Destiny 2 launching new ‘Monsters vs Mechs’ Halloween skin survey
Destiny 2’s getting some new skins, but the specifics are up to you. Bungie announced Thursday that a survey will be released to allow players to choose between mech and monster skins.
Players can now customize their Guardians with the new cosmetic options. Bungie released some concept art for players to see what the new cosmetic options might look like.
It is just what the name suggests. You can make yourself look like a cyclops or a swamp monster. Or even Godzilla. The mechs are, in fact, very similar to Gundams. See concept art. It’s probably important to note that the word Gundam isn’t mentioned at all in Bungie’s post, but it does refer to the mechs as “mobile suits,” so they might as well be Gundams.

Bungie’s second attempt at a similar poll is now. Destiny 2. Bungie held a contest between monsters and dinosaurs where players could vote. Last year the dinosaurs took home first place. But now that they’re back for year two, the monsters have been enhanced to monsters 2.0.
The polls will be emailed to players starting on April 7, so you’ll need to make sure your Bungie.net profile allows for emails. You can vote from April 7 through April 13, at which time the winner will become known. The Broken Barriers emblem will be awarded to every player who exercised their Bungie-given democratic power, regardless of skins.
