Destiny 2 comes tot the Epic Games Store, gets free trial

While Tuesday’s 2022 Destiny 2: ShowcaseWhile most of the attention was on gameplay, Bungie managed to make a surprising business announcement. Destiny 2Epic Games Store is getting it.

Along with the unveiling of Epic Games Store, Fortnite and Destiny crossover event — which leaked over the weekend. Destiny 2All of the expansions and games will now be available on this platform. Guardians can also pick up from Steam and console.

Steam Version of Destiny 2 isn’t going anywhere, and this isn’t an exclusivity deal with Epic. As with many other games, the players can choose which storefront or friends they like best. You can also use this app to: Destiny 2’s crossplay feature, Guardians should even be able to jump between Steam and the Epic Games Store without issue.

To celebrate Destiny’s release on the Epic Games Store, Bungie is launching a free trial for all Destiny 2Expandions are available on all platforms (not just for PC). For the next week, Guardians can jump into any of the expansion content they don’t own and try it for themselves free of charge. Players will have to buy the expansions after the free trial ends.

Epic Games Store has been moved to for Destiny 2’s third PC storefront since its release onto the platform in 2017. Destiny 2Battle.net was the original home of Battle.net back in Activision’s day.
